Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange:

ANZ - ANZ BANKING GROUP - up 18 cents, or 0.6 per cent, at $28.17

ANZ has agreed to sell its 55 per cent stake in ANZ Royal Bank in Cambodia to Japanese financial house J Trust, which will equate to a $30 million loss.

CSL - CSL LTD - up $7.26, or 4.1 per cent, at $182.95

CSL has lifted its full-year profit guidance by 28 per cent thanks to strong sales of products, including its Seqirus flu vaccine in the northern hemisphere.

GFY - GODFREYS - up 2 cents, or 6.5 per cent, at 33 cents

Two major shareholders of Godfreys have agreed to sell their stake in the vacuum cleaner merchant to the 99-year-old co-founder of the business, John Johnston, clearing a path for his takeover bid.

WPL - WOODSIDE PETROLEUM - up 2 cents, or 0.1 per cent, at $34.31

STO - SANTOS - up 5 cents, or 0.8 per cent, at $6.25

OSH - OIL SEARCH - steady at $8.55

ORG - ORIGIN ENERGY - up 32 cents, or 3.3 per cent, at $10.10

Oil prices have jumped, taking the Australian energy sector with them.
