Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange:

SEK - SEEK LIMITED - up 22 cents, or 1.5 per cent, to 22 cents

Online jobs group SEEK will pay $119 million to lift its stake in Online Education Services - a joint venture with Swinburne University - from 50 per cent to 80 per cent.

MGC - MURRAY GOULBURN (MG UNIT TRUST) - down two cents, or two per cent, to 98 cents.

Murray Goulburn has appointed restructuring expert John Spark as chairman, replacing Philip Tracy, who presided when the company instituted the April, 2016 cut to milk prices paid to suppliers.

CCE - CARNEGIE CLEAN ENERGY - up 0.5 cents, or 6.8 per cent, to 7.9 cents

Carnegie Clean Energy has announced plans to build a 10MW solar power station at Northam, east of Perth in Western Australia, that will generate enough power for 4,000 homes.

OSH - OIL SEARCH - up two cents, or 0.3 per cent, to $6.92

STO - SANTOS - down four cents, or 1.1 per cent, to $3.69

WPL - WOODSIDE PETROLEUM - down 17 cents, or 0.5 per cent, to $31.37

Growing concerns that an OPEC production cut is failing to reduce a global supply overhang even as prices have remained largely steady.
