THE.BULL.COM.AU

TheBull.com.au is a media company run and owned by long-standing finance journalists with no ties to any financial services company or Association.

Many Australians know TheBull by its original name CompareShares, which launched in 2007. On 1 March 2009, CompareShares relaunched with a new site and name, being the first to successfully forecast the start of a new bull run, and to cement its position as Australia's number one sharemarket and investing site.

AUSTRALIA AND THE BULL

The Bull is symbolic of financial optimism and prosperity. The Charging Bull is a famous sculpture near Wall Street, erected after the stockmarket crash of 1987 as a symbol of the strength, power and hope of the American people for the future.

The global financial crisis of 2008 was the biggest financial crisis since the Great Depression. It wiped trillions from sharemarkets globally, and shattered the portfolios of long-term investors, traders and retirees.

Just as markets recovered from the 1987 crash, we launched TheBull with the view that the sharemarket would rebound once again. TheBull is a symbol that prosperity and optimism will return.

INDEPENDENCE

TheBull.com.au is an independent company with no affiliation to any company listed on the site. TheBull is privately owned by the journalists who run it - a resource put together by journalists for investors and traders.
